THE SULTANATE OF MALACCA




Malacca Sultanate Palace

 

Malacca Sultanate Palace is located near the St.Paul hill. The replica of the castle has rebuild due to the historical theory and malay history. Sultan Mansur Syah who wasruled Malacca from 1456-1477. The castle is truly imagined the reality of natural construction of the castle at that time.


The castle contains several department or specific space such as Balairong Seri, competed station and features. A ceremonial Malay rulers during the time of Malacca Sultanate. To represent the institution of Sultanate as the historical in Malay tradition substitute who was ruled Malacca a long time ago. A legendary battle between two recognizeable character ‘Hang Tuah’ and ‘Hang Jebat’ during the period of the Malacca Sultanate and the example from that incident hold for posterity.

The replica of this castle was rebuild in 1984 due to the time of Sultan Mansur Syah who was reigned at that time. The official opening ceremony were be done by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohammad on July 17th 1986. The construction of the entire building is made by hard wood while the roof tiled in glassy red shingle that brightly during sunny day.


For overall, this place also serve the prosperity of Malacca Sultanate forming and the integral portion of heritage Malay race.
